(2021 IECC Goes Into Effect July 1, 2023)
Description: With Louisiana soon to be transitioning from the 2009 International Energy Conservation Code (IECC) to the most current 2021 IECC, there will be many changes to address. This class is intended to be utilized by designers, contractors and the many trades involved in today construction as an introduction to the, soon to be, promulgated codes and amendments.
The class is intended to:
- Highlight many of the changes and increased requirements that will be introduced with the 2021 IECC.
- The class will utilize multiple software and use hands on demonstrations to explain and help attendees to better understand the reasoning and effects of the newly increased standards.
- Ultimately provide the attendees with a deeper understanding of standards, how these standards change the building’s performance, as well as how and when to apply the applicable standards.
